Cat Everett is Galop’s new LGBT Young Person’s Caseworker. Cat works as an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor, which means that she provides specialist advice and support to under 25s who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse. She can help people learn to keep themselves safer, report abuse to the police, seek counselling, find safe accommodation, and access general and emotional support.
Cat is helping Galop to reach out to young LGBT people in new ways, including online chat advice and outreach through message boards and social networking sites.
