To address this gap, we have created a unique risk assessment tool, which we are calling the Roar Check List. The questions on the check list are specific to LGBT survivors and are asked to provoke specific disclosures and to inform professional judgement.

Opening doors launch a checklist to support providers of adult social care to ensure that services are truly inclusive of older lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people. the checklist was developed over 18 months in consultation with Opening Doors members and provides comprehensive guidence to local authorities and services working with older clients.
