To address this gap, we have created a unique risk assessment tool, which we are calling the Roar Check List. The questions on the check list are specific to LGBT survivors and are asked to provoke specific disclosures and to inform professional judgement.

A new training film and resource for domestic violence and abuse in LGBT relationships is launched through the Centre for Applied Social Sciences (CASS).
The DDVC is available to those who have entered or stayed in the UK as a spouse, unmarried partner, same-sex or civil partner of a British Citizen, or settled citizen and who’s relationship has broken down due to domestic abuse.
